Ingredients
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp fine sugar
  • 2 heaped tsp good quality turkish coffee

Instructions
  1. Making a traditional Turkish Coffee with milk is basically the same steps as preparing an original Turkish Coffee with the difference that we use milk instead of water.
  2. first, measure the cup you will actually drink your coffee in it with milk, simply pour the milk in the cup to know how much milk you need. Remember, each cup of milk makes coffee for one person so for example for 3 persons you need to measure 3 cups of milk. add the measured water into a small metal saucepa
  3. add the fine sugar. we have 3 degree of turkish coffee according to the sweetness of it which is less sweet where we use only 1 tsp sugar, medium sweet where we use 2 tsp sugar and extra sweet where we use 3 tsp of sugar. you can also make it without sugar if you don’t want to use sugar.
  4. after adding sugar, we add the coffee where we use 2 heaped tsp of Turkish coffee for each cup. Tip number 1: after adding sugar & coffee into the milk you must stir them together before putting in on the heat. you never stir the coffee while on the heat.
  5. after stirring it put it over the medium heat. Remember the heat must be on the medium. after few minutes you will see the tiny bubbles start forming on the surface of the coffee, slowly take the bubbles with the spoon and pour it inside your coffee cup and keep it. if the bubbles appears again do the same.
  6. after few more minutes you will see the white foam start forming on the surface of your coffee. (remember, do not stir the coffee) once you see your coffee is about to start boiling, you must remove it from the heat. Tip number 2: once your coffee started to go boiling remove it from the heat otherwise if you coffee boils the taste of your coffee will turn more like bitter.
  7. Now pour the coffee in the cup we gathered the foams in it. Tip number 3: you must pour the coffee very slowly in the cup to avoid destroying the white foam on the surface. once you pour the coffee slowing in the cup, the white foam will stay of the top of your coffee in the cup and won’t disappear.
  8. once you poured the coffee in the cup you must not stir it, you must wait until the coffee parts to go down the cup and then it’s ready to drink it. Tip number 4: making the turkish coffee takes around 7 to 10 minutes over the heat and you must be over the coffee while you placed it on the heat and not to leave it. So don’t increase the heat to make your coffee faster otherwise the coffee will not turn rich and tasty as it should to be.
