Ingredients
  • 2 cups soaked chickpeas
  • 1/2 cup fava beans
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 1/2 cup Freshly Chopped Coriander
  • 2 tbsp Coriander Powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • Salt

Instructions
  1. Soak the chickpeas from the night before.
  2. Add chickpeas, fava beans, onion, garlic & coriander in food processor. Blend it for 30 seconds. Then add 1/4 cup of water & blend it well.
  3. Transfer the mixture in a bowl and add the spices which are: garlic, coriander, cinnamon,black pepper & ginger powder. Add the baking powder as well. Add salt. Mix everything fully with your hand . Then leave the mixture in room for 10 minutes.
  4. Heat the oil in a pan or saucepan. The amount of oil should be covering the falafels. Form the mixture into a meatball style and fry all sides. After frying pick them in paper towel. Serve with tahini & lemon sauce.
