Ingredients
  • 500 gram Mince Meat
  • 300 gram dices vegetablesdill, spring onion, tarragon, basil
  • 2 cups rice
  • 2 pcs Chopped Onion
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 4 tbsp chickpea flour
  • 2/5 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 2 pcs chopped kohlrabiif you don't find kohlrabi you can use the normal cabbage
  • 1 tsp dried lemon powderif you don't like sour taste in your food just don't use lemon powder

  • Salt to taste

Instructions
  1. First soak the rice with 2 heaped tsp salt in water for 2 hours.
  2. Saute onions for few minutes in the pan. Then add the kohlrabi and saute for few more minutes. Then add the vegetables and saute for few minutes. Add 1 tsp of turmeric powder. Add 1 tsp of black pepper powder. Add dried lemon powder. Mix and stir for few seconds. Add the fresh lemon juice. Add the salt. Mix and remove it from the heat and set aside.
  3. In a big bowl add the mince meat. Add the chickpea flour. Add the rest of black pepper powder (1 tsp). Add 1 tsp of turmeric powder. Add the salt. Mix everything with hand until fully mixed. Form small meatballs from the meat. Stir fry the both sides of meatballs in a pan. After frying the meatballs set them aside.
  4. In order to prepare the rice, fill the pot with water and bring to boil. Add a heaped tsp of salt to it. Add the half tsp of turmeric powder. Drain the rice and add it to the pot. Under high heat let the rice to cook half uncovered. Then drain the rice and leave for 2 minutes.
  5. Add some oil in the bottom of the pot. Add 1 layer of rice & 1 layer of kohlrabi mixture to the pot. Continue layering until rice & mixture is finished. Then place the meatballs over the top. Add the remaining oil of meatballs to the pot. Wrap a towel around the pot cover and cover the pot. Place the pot under medium heat for 40 minutes & then its ready. Let the rice to get cooled a bit and then mix the rice and then add it to the serving plate.
