Ingredients
  • 2 cups brown rice
  • 4 cups water
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
  1. place a pot under high flame & wash the brown rice and drain and add it to the pot. add 4 cups of water into it. add the salt. cover the pot under high flame until comes to boil.
  2. once its boiled, give it a stir & cover it and let all the water to evaporate under the high flame.
  3. once the water evaporated, give it a stir & bring the flame to low and cover the pot and let the rice to get cooked completely which takes around 15 to 20 minutes. & then the rice is ready to serve.
Recipe Notes

for each cup of brown rice you always need 2 cups of water to cook, if the rice is not a basmati rice add 1 & half cup of water instead of 2 cups.

the right amount of water is what matters in cooking rice.

putting wrong amount of water,  rice won't come out well.
