Ingredients
  • 125 grams chickpeas flour
  • 65 grams icing sugar
  • 80 grams butter or solid oil
  • 1 tsp Cardamom PowderOptional
  • pistachio flakes to garnishOptional

Instructions
  1. Pre-heat your oven to 180 C or 356 F.
  2. Beat the butter with electric beater till get creamy. Then add the icing sugar and beat until turns to a smooth paste. Add the cardamom powder and beat until mixed.
  3. Sift the chickpeas flour 3 times. Take 2 tbsp of the chickpeas flour & add 2 tbsp plain flour instead. Add the flour to the creamy paste. Knead it until it comes together as a dough. Put the dough in a plastic bag & keep 5 hours in room temperature.
  4. Remove the dough from the plastic after 5 hours. Spread the dough with your hand to thickness of half cm. Do it with your hand you don't need a rolling pin. Press the edges of the dough to spread it. Rub some oil to your desired cookie mould & start molding. Put them in oven tray over baking paper. Unmold the sweets slowly so they won't crush. Put some pistachio flakes or powder on the sweets. Place them in oven for 15 minutes in the middle of oven. After 15 minutes let them cool down and serve.
